Untersuchungen zu den Nomina und Verben der indogermanischen Ursprache gibt es reichlich, noch nie aber wurde der restliche Wortschatz systematisch erfasst und einheitlich analysiert. Das umfassende Lexikon der indogermanischen Partikeln, primaren Adverbien, Konjunktionen und Pronominalstamme wird diesem Anspruch gerecht. Gesondert werden die Adverbialendungen behandelt; unhaltbare Partikeln und Pronomina werden explizit zuruckgewiesen. Rekonstrukte, Ruckprojektionen und Prokonstrukte werden typographisch unterschieden. Die Analyse versucht vor allem, den rekonstruierbaren urindogermanischen Partikeln ihr eigenes Wesen zu entlocken, ohne sie in schon vorhandene Kategorien zu zwangen. Dabei werden die Prinzipien und Begrifflichkeit der Aptotologie erortert. Dank vorliegendem Lexikon konnen nunmehr fundierte Aussagen zu den urindogermanischen Formatoren gemacht werden.
