Ce livre rassemble des contributions presentees par des professeurs des Universites de Strasbourg, de Tubingen et d’Upsal a un colloque qui eut lieu a Strasbourg en 2002. Il fait suite a des volumes sur Le Trone de Dieu (1993), La main de Dieu (1997), et La Cite de Dieu (2000). Les contributions traitent du theme complexe du Repas de Dieu sous des aspects d’histoire des religions proche-orientale et judeo-hellenistique, d’exegese biblique, de patristique, d’histoire de la Reforme et du judaisme medieval.Das Buch versammelt die Beitrage eines Strassburger Symposiums von Wissenschaftlern der Universitaten Strassburg, Tubingen, Uppsala im Jahre 2002. Dem Sammelwerk gingen die Symposiumsbande Le Trone de Dieu / Der Thron Gottes (1993), La Main de Dieu / Die Hand Gottes (1997) und La Cite de Dieu / Die Stadt Gottes (2000) voraus. Die Studien behandeln das komplexe Thema des Mahls Gottes unter Aspekten der altorientalischen und hellenistisch-judischen Religionsgeschichte, der Bibelexegese und Patristik sowie der Geschichte der Reformation und des mittelalterlichen Judentums.
