Review - French Tandis que le royaume de Stanislas Auguste disparait en 1795 de la carte de l'Europe, la Pologne passe d'une culture elitaire et aristocratique a une culture nationale et populaire. Le theatre polonais joue un role capital dans cette evolution. En 1765, la fondation par le roi du Theatre national de Varsovie permet a un large public de s'ouvrir a la culture nationale et a la politique. Le succes de ce theatre incite les aristocrates polonais, petris de culture francaise, a creer dans leurs palais des theatres prives. A Lancut, dans le theatre de la princesse Lubomirska, sont montees en 1792 lesParadesde Jean Potocki. Le present ouvrage retrace ce moment de l'histoire, ou la litterature polonaise ne cesse de dialoguer avec la litterature francaise.
