Il Mistero dell’Uomo della Sindone

Dal 19 aprile al 24 giugno 2015, in occasione dei duecento anni dalla nascita di san Giovanni Bosco, a Torino si tiene l’ostensione straordinaria della Sindone, il lenzuolo di lino sul quale e visibile l’immagine di un uomo che porta i segni della crocifissione. Un’antica tradizione identifica quest’uomo con Gesu e ritiene che il lenzuolo (il termine greco sindon indica appunto il tessuto di lino) sia quello usato per avvolgere il corpo del Risorto nel sepolcro. Sui misteri e sulla storia della Sindone (una reliquia che suscita grande passione ma anche molte controversie tra gli studiosi) esiste ormai una vastissima letteratura. Attraverso questo agile e immediato strumento cercheremo di offrire alcuni spunti utili a ricollocare la reliquia nel suo contesto originario: la Terra Santa del tempo di Gesu, la cultura giudaica del I secolo, i racconti evangelici della Passione e della Risurrezione.
