The results of Katzys study clearly show an adherence to regional traditions. The focus of this works rests on previously unpublished ceramics from the recent excavations from Tell Halaf. The findings presented in this book offer a provisional model of extensively stratified settlement complexes from the Hellensitic period, which is to be verified through future excavation in other regions of the old Seleucid Empire. German text.
