Wenn Frauen nach einflussreichen Positionen streben, heisst es oft, Frauen greifen nach der Macht – als nahmen sie sich etwas, das ihnen nicht zusteht. Wenn sich Theologinnen mit der Machtfrage beschaftigen, ist die Situation besonders prekar. Denn sie bewegen sich nicht nur in machtformigen sakularen Gesellschaften, sondern auch in kirchlichen Feldern, die – was Macht angeht – ausserst ambivalent sind: Ob Frauen in kirchlichen Strukturen von den Bischofen Zugang gewahrt oder ihnen Fuhrungspositionen gegeben werden, offenbart die dahinterstehende Ansicht, dass Frauen offenkundig eher ausserhalb der Macht stehen und dorthin mochten, wo sie als fremd wahrgenommen werden. Theologinnen sind mit diesen Machtgefugen konfrontiert und haben sich dazu zu verhalten.
