Die Pandemie hat einen machtigen Digitalisierungsschub gebracht, im Ganzen der Gesellschaft und in fast allen Teilbereichen. Leben und Arbeiten sind tief durchdrungen von einer Kultur und Praktiken des Digitalen. Wenn, wie in Russland wahrend des Ukrainekrieges, der Zugang zu sozialen Netzwerken gesperrt wird, merkt man auch, welche Freiheitsraume damit verstellt sind. Viele Gemeinden haben sich unter Coronabedingungen schnell auf die Online-Prasenz verlegt. Allerdings: lokale und digitale Prasenz funktionieren ganz unterschiedlich. Es reicht nicht aus, den “normalen” Gottesdienst einfach zu “streamen”. Gegenwartig wird uber “nicht-lineare, hypertextuelle und multimediale Liturgien” (F. van Oorschot) diskutiert. Wie konnen wir dann aber “(Real-)Prasenz” im digitalen Kontext verstehen? Das Quatemberheft soll diese Fragen im Horizont einer leibhaften und erfahrungsbezogenen Spiritualitat bedenken – und im Blick behalten, dass es inzwischen auch eine Bewegung der “Entnetzung” (U. Staheli) gibt.
