Das Buch beschreibt ein einzigartiges Modell der Engagementforderung. Sie ist nicht im binnenkirchlichen Raum, sondern im Sozialraum verortet und kann deshalb Begegnungsorte initiieren, die neue Projekte und Engagement generieren. An diesen Orten entsteht Kirche auf innovative Weise. Dennoch fehlt ihr derzeit der Mut, den Sprung konsequent in das Quartier zu machen.
