Sie ist negativ, weil sie einsieht, dass sich das Absolute nicht nur der pradikativen Struktur des Urteils entzieht, sondern letztlich sogar uber alle positiven Bestimmungen erhaben ist. Die hier versammelten Beitrage untersuchen den Einfluss der negativ theologischen Denktradition in der deutschen und franzosischen Philosophie des 20. Jahrhunderts und nehmen Autoren wie Heidegger, Benjamin, Adorno, Jaspers, Derrida, Marion u.a. in den Blick. Dabei zeigt sich: Sobald sich die Philosophie ihrer ureigensten Aufgabe stellt, Denken des Absoluten zu sein, ist auch der vielgestaltige Problemhorizont der negativen Theologie lebendig.
