Along with baptism, the celebration of the Eucharist is one of the oldest liturgical rites in Christianity. Following the latest research, and based on certain text corpora, the traditional image of the age of this type of mass has been revised. Based on these findings, Bukovec attempts a history of the Eucharist in early Christianity.
