Qu’ils soient philosophes, theologiens ou medecins, nombre d’auteurs tentent de definir a leur facon les limites de l’ordre naturel. La ligne de demarcation entre ce qui est naturel et ce qui ne l’est pas apparait mouvante, incertaine voire indecidable. C’est a l’exploration de ces territoires du doute que s’attelle cet ouvrage autour de trois grands confins : les limites de la definition de la nature, la frontiere entre le naturel et le divin, et la lisiere entre le naturel et le demoniaque.
