Korintherbrief vor, der den Text anhand der dokumentarischen Papyri und Ostraka sowie der Holz- und Wachstafelchen aus dem griechisch-romischen Alltag auslegt. Der Kommentar dient als wichtige Erganzung zu traditionellen exegetischen Kommentaren. Der umfangreiche Einleitungsteil widmet sich besonders ausfuhrlich der Frage, inwieweit Papyrusbriefe mit den Paulusbriefen vergleichbar sind, sowie den Teilungshypothesen zum 2. Korintherbrief – einschliesslich einer Erklarung daruber, wie ein Kompilationsprozess abgelaufen sein konnte. Verzeichnisse zu den behandelten Papyri, Ostraka und Tafelchen, zu den ausfuhrlicher behandelten griechischen Begriffen und Personennamen sowie zu den modernen Autorinnen und Autoren erleichtern den Zugang zu diesem Band.
