Band (2011), 3./4. Heft, Sp. 131-138 "Orth deserves praise for providing a detailed, learned and reliable interpretive guide to the remnants of the literary output of an intriguing comic playwright who placed generic experimentalism at the centre of his poetics and led Old Comedy's self-reflexivity to new heights." "The commentary is not only a mine of wide-ranging information, but it also denotes interpretive acumen and sensitivity (...). The helpful indices will make this well-produced volume easy to peruse and consult. Strattis has far too long been treated as a marginal figure. Orth's important book represents a first step in righting this..." Mario Telo, JHS 131 (2011), S. 186-187 "... pursued with admirable learning and vigor ..." Leonardo Fiorentini, Eikasmos XXIII (2012), S. 566-569.
