Der vorliegende Band, der sich der Gattung erstmals systematisch zuwendet, versammelt daher neben Artikeln zu zahlreichen einzelnen Werken und Sammlungen auch Beitrage zu literarischen, frommigkeitsgeschichtlichen und konfessionspolitischen Kontexten.
