Sie befragen kritisch das ‘Denken Christi’, die Auffassung von Jesus Christus als Verkorperung des gekreuzigten Gottes, als Bild- und Denkfigur in Prasenz und Absenz, als Medium von Versohnung und Erlosung. Gegen eine vermeintliche Unmittelbarkeit von Jesus Christus in Verkundigung und Theologie, der ‘immer schon’ gezeigt, geglaubt und verstanden zu sein scheint, durchdenken sie dessen mediale, semantische und visuelle Vermittlungen.
