Ein Spiegel des Lebens
Meditationen zu ausgewahlten Psalmen
by Karl-Heinz Lerch
English summary: Many people long for a genuine, authentic spirituality in which they can find themselves with their lives and which can offer them a different perspective on life. The Psalms are a mirror of life in which we can recognize all existential situations and the entirety of life in its beauty, but also in its vulnerability and mortality. At the same time we are placed in the horizon of the reality and presence of God. This can open up a new perspective on life, on ourselves and on the world, granting us gratitude, consolation, confidence and hope. The presented meditations do not aim to instruct the Psalms and their theology, but rather to allow the readers to experience their spiritual power and efficacy in a realistic and meaningful way.
