Life is today, Live it well
Celtic spirituality for modern living
by Rita Dowling
Celtic Spirituality is re-emerging as a vibrant living spiritual practice in western society. People are once again looking to their roots and ancestry for Spiritual identity and expression. In the Celtic world there is no duality and the spiritual and natural worlds interact on all levels simultaneously. The earth is honoured and revered with celebrations and rituals at diff erent times in the Celtic calendar. There is a deep respect for the nature that nourishes us and for the planets and the greater Cosmos that sustains and guides our lives. We are now in a time of understanding the necessity for sustainable living, both individually and as a collective consciousness. Opportunity now exists to participate in and co-operate with the evolution of Spirit and a renewal of our enchantment with all of life.
