It has been written and illustrated by three experienced practitioners who conducted an annual Summer School course ‘Drawing Archaeological Finds’ at the Institute of Archaeology, London. The text includes comprehensive advice on many aspects of archaeological artefact illustration from the equipment and materials required by the archaeological illustrator to the preparation of finished artwork for the printer.
