Sakraltopographie und visuelle Prasentation von: Die architektonische und rituelle Inkorporation einer Loreto-Kapelle in der Schonenbergkirche bei Ellwangen

Die Inkorporation einer Loreto-Kapelle in den kirchlichen Grossbau wird erstmals als originare Methode in der Konkurrenz fruhneuzeitlicher Gnadenorte analysiert.
Im konfessionellen Zeitalter steigerten Wallfahrtskirchen die Vielfalt ihrer Rezeptionsangebote, um moglichst viele Glaubige an ihre Gnadenorte heranzufuhren: neue Erfahrungsraume entstanden. Am Beispiel der Schonenbergkirche bei Ellwangen zeigt das Buch erstmals umfassend, wie hierfur eine Loreto-Kapelle erfolgreich in einen Groabau inkorporiert wurde. Quellen-, Architektur- und Bildanalysen sowie Vergleiche machen deutlich, wie der Typus des Inkorporationsbaus als originare Methode konsequent verfolgt wurde. Fur eine gemischtkonfessionelle Umgebung entstand so im Zusammenspiel von typologischen Mustern, ortlichen Bedingungen und Topographie ein singularer Gnadenraum fruhneuzeitlicher Wallfahrtsarchitektur.
