English summary: For the first time a critical and complete translation of the tractate ‘ Avoda Zara of the Talmud Yerushalmi (JerusaLem Talmud) in the German language is provided. The tractate deals from the Jewish point of view with the relations between Jews and non-Jews in the period until about the end of the 4th century after Christ.
