English summary: The present volume contains a collection of 16 essays by Erhard Blum, Professor of Old Testament at the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Tubingen. These works were published elsewhere between 1980 and 2007 and deal with the question of the compositional history of the Pentateuch and the Former Prophets. Some of these esssays focus on the analysis of highly controversial texts such as Jacob’s struggle at the Yabboq (Gen 32) or the bloody bridegroom (Ex 4), whereas others deal with the overall compositional structure of Genesis to Kings and its history, such as the transition from the patriarchs to the exodus narrative or the transition from Joshua to Judges or the second covenant at Sinai (Ex 34). A number of essays cover the prophetical stories in the Book of Kings and the succession narrative and their relevance for the composition of Deuteronomistic History. German description: Dieser Band vereinigt sechzehn, an verschiedenen Orten veroffentlichte Aufsatze des Tubinger Alttestamentlers Erhard Blum zu den Kanonteilen Tora und Vordere Propheten. Sie fuhren weiter, was in den Monographien Die Komposition der Vatergeschichte und Studien zur Komposition des Pentateuch Grund gelegt wurde. Detailstudien befassen sich mit notorisch schwierigen Texten wie etwa dem Kampf Jakobs am Jabbok (Gen 32) oder der Erzahlung vom Blutbrautigam (Ex 4). Daneben stehen Arbeiten, die in einem weiten Horizont die kompositionsgeschichtlichen Knotenpunkte bearbeiten, etwa den Ubergang von den Erzvatern zum Exodus, den Ubergang vom Josua- zum Richterbuch oder den zweiten Bundesschluss am Sinai (Ex 34). Hinzu kommen Arbeiten zu den Propheten-Erzahlungen und zur Thronfolge-Erzahlung, mit wesentlichen Beitragen zur Vor- und der Nachgeschichte des deuteronomistischen Geschichtswerks.
