Regesten der in den Handschriftenbanden Acta Unitatis Fratrum V-VI uberlieferten Texte

Die Acta Unitatis Fratrum sind das bedeutendste Quellencorpus zur Geschichte und Theologie der Bohmischen Bruder und zugleich ein herausragendes Monument konfessioneller Erinnerungskultur im spatmittelalterlich-fruhneuzeitlichen Mitteleuropa. Das Sammelwerk wurde in der Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts fur die Kirchenleitung der Bruderunitat angelegt und besteht aus vierzehn Handschriftenbanden mit mehr als 10.000 eng beschriebenen Seiten, uberwiegend in tschechischer Sprache. Die ungewohnlich dichte und umfangreiche Uberlieferung umfasst Abschriften von Texten und Briefen der Bruder von deren ersten Anfangen in der Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts bis zum Jahr 1589. Hinzu kommen gegnerische Schriften, Akten und Berichte uber Kontroversen, Verfolgungen und kirchenpolitische Ereignisse in Bohmen und Mahren vom Hohepunkt der hussitischen Bewegung bis zur Konsolidierung der europaischen Reformation. Im Auftrag des Historischen Instituts der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik und der Direktion der Europaisch-Festlandischen Provinz der Bruder-Unitat werden die Acta Unitatis Fratrum jetzt erstmals fur historisch, theologisch, philologisch oder kulturgeschichtlich arbeitende Wissenschaftler durch Regesten und Einleitungen umfassend erschlossen.
