How did the methodological innovations and challenges of Roman law research influence the study of Roman law in countries that were reborn or founded in Central Europe after World War I? Based on reconstructions of methodological profiles of selected Romanists from the region, this volume presents their peculiarities and the transfer of the innovative research methods used at the time.
