Im vorliegenden Band soll keine allgemeine Untersuchung zu Kronen im alten Agypten durchgefuhrt werden. Solch eine Arbeit kann eine Person allein ohne Vorarbeiten nicht leisten. In diesem Band geht es nur um eine Ubersicht uber Kronen in den Tempeln der Zeit der griechisch-romischen Herrschaft in Agypten: Wer tragt welche Krone. Dabei werden alle “Kopfbedeckungen” berucksichtigt, die Konige, Koniginnen und Gottheiten auf oder uber dem Kopf tragen. Ausgenommen ist dabei die Geierhaube der Gottinnen und Koniginnen. Hier war ein differenzierendes Bild von vornherein nicht zu erwarten. Dagegen werden auch auf dem Kopf oder daruber getragene Hieroglyphen zusammengestellt.
