English summary: The Munich “Jungere Titurel,” which emerged around 1430/35, has traditionally been localized either to South Tyrol or to Vienna, which both linguistic and art-historical arguments tended to support. The two authors of this work have undertaken a detailed analysis of the evidence in order to clarify the facts about the “Jungere Titurel” on the basis of eleven other manuscripts composed in the Bavarian dialect of early modern German. It is well-known that the art historian Martin Roland and the linguist Peter Wiesinger first worked independently, in order to avoid influencing each others work. Both of them came to the same conclusion: the manuscript was not produced on the banks of the Etsch in South Tyrol, but was clearly from somewhere more northerly; the superb miniatures that grace the manuscript were produced not in Vienna, but somewhere upriver. This now published work brings together the arguments of both disciplines and offers an important stimulus for interdisciplinary collaboration. German description: Der um 1430/35 entstandene Munchener aJungere Titurel wurde bisher entweder nach Sudtirol oder nach Wien lokalisiert, wofur sowohl sprachwissenschaftliche als auch kunsthistorische Argumente vorgebracht wurden. Das Autorenduo begibt sich auf eine detaillierte Spurensuche, um die Tatbestande zu klaren, wobei anhand von elf weiteren Handschriften auch das Bairisch-Fruhneuhochdeutsche zur Darstellung gelangt. Bewusst haben sowohl der Kunsthistoriker Martin Roland als auch der Sprachwissenschafter Peter Wiesinger zuerst unabhangig gearbeitet, um jede Beeinflussung zu vermeiden. Beide kommen zu demselben Ergebnis: Nicht an den Ufern der Etsch, sondern deutlich nordlicher, nicht in Wien, sondern weiter stromaufwarts entstand die mit prachtigen Miniaturen ausgestattete Handschrift. Die nun vorliegende Publikation tragt die Argumente beider Disziplinen zusammen und bietet so eine wichtige Anregung zur interdisziplinaren Zusammenarbeit.
