Les problemes rencontres, tels que la dialectique entre verbes et non-verbes, l’etude des relations et oppositions entre temps, modes, aspects et diatheses, y beneficient d’une double optique, linguistique generale et specificite des langues examinees. Ces deux points de vue se renforcent et s’enrichissent mutuellement, rendant ce livre indispensable a tous les chercheurs, bien au-dela des langues examinees et au-dela de l’ergatif meme.
