Enfin, il s’agit aujourd’hui de l’ouvrage le plus celebre et le plus lu de saint Bonaventure, avec le Breviloquium, alors qu’il est l’un des plus difficiles a lire. Ce texte enigmatique merite pourtant bien son nom d’itineraire, avec la fonction introductive que cela implique. Il suffit, a l’invitation de Bonaventure, de se laisser conduire par la main .
