English summary: The conference Academic Imam training in Germany: Islamic theology in European context took place at the university of Osnabruck, 25th-27th February 2010. Various points of view on this topic were studied in light of legal, historic, political, and sociological framework conditions. In European comparison (examples Switzerland, Turkey, Norway, and Bosnia-Herzegovina), associated contents, requirements, academic curricular parameters, the transfer of the job description, and the occupational image of Imams were also discussed. The result consists of a comprising reflexion of academic Imam training in Germany and the intriguing resulting academic, political and sociological developments. German text. German description: Die Beitrage dieses Sammelbandes behandeln das ausserst aktuelle Thema der Imamausbildung in Deutschland aus den Blickwinkeln seiner Rahmenbedingungen – sowohl rechtlich und historisch als auch politisch und soziologisch, im europaischen Vergleich (Beispiele Schweiz, Turkei, Norwegen und Bosnien-Herzegowina), in Bezug auf Inhalte und Voraussetzungen der Imamausbildung und hochschulcurriculare Rahmenbedingungen und bezuglich des Berufsbilds des Imams. Das Ergebnis des auf eine im Februar 2010 in Osnabruck abgehaltene Tagung ist eine umfassende Betrachtung der Imamausbildung in Deutschland, die neugierig macht auf die tatsachliche Umsetzung und die sich daraus ergebenden wissenschaftlichen, politischen und gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen.
