English summary: This text analyzes the motivations behind tournaments, jousts, raids, vendettas, feuds, and other medieval acts of conflict and violence. Spanning the period between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, this text uses a variety of extant sources to investigate the emotional responses of those who recorded the violence of this period and how this knowledge effects modern interpretations. Solo cosi sara possibile capire, e scoprire, se e fino a che punto tali emozioni abbiano influenzato la rappresentazione degli eventi riportati sulla carta e la nostra possibilita di interpretarli.
