Fordert Karl Barths Theologie auch heute noch heraus, von Gott zu reden? Diese Frage war leitend am vierten internationalen Karl Barth-Symposium 2019 in der Johannes a Lasco-Bibliothek in Emden. Der Infragestellung Gottes durch den aufgeklarten Menschen steht in Barths Theologie die Infragestellung des Menschen durch Gott gegenuber. Dieser doppelten Gotteserschutterung wird im Sinne Barths mit einer Gottesvergewisserung begegnet. Den international ausgewiesenen Autorinnen und Autoren gelingt es dabei, die Starken und Schwachen verschiedener Ansatze in der Auseinandersetzung mit Barths Theologie in den Blick zu nehmen.
