Realizzato per volontà della principessa Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici a partire dal 1724, il Giardino di Villa La Quiete – di proprietà della Regione Toscana, gestito dal Sistema Museale dell’Ateneo fiorentino – può essere considerato l’ultimo giardino mediceo; situata nel sistema paesaggistico pedecollinare del versante di Monte Morello, La Quiete si colloca nella sequenza che dalla Villa di Careggi arriva fino ai complessi di Petraia e Castello. Il volume raccoglie gli esiti di un triennio di studi e ricerche per la conoscenza, la conservazione e la gestione di questo immenso patrimonio, restaurato grazie ai fondi PNRR 2022, a cura di AICOM con Giorgio Galletti e Gianfranco Franchi.
