C’est du moins le chemin qui a conduit a la phenomenologie transcendantale. Cette traduction d’Emmanuel Levinas a contribue, la premiere, a faire connaitre Husserl en France a un plus large public que celui qui assistait aux Conferences de Fevrier 1929 a la Sorbonne, et parce que, apres avoir ete revue par Alexandre Koyre, elle fut soumise au philosophe de Fribourg, mais surtout parce qu’elle temoigne indirectement d’un etat du texte original aujourd’hui perdu.
