Il leur transmettait avec force et noblesse le programme de leurs devoirs communs. C’est en effet la destination de l’homme en general et la visee de toute association humaine que de se perfectionner a l’infini. Mais c’est la destination du savant de veiller sur le progres de la culture, de lui donner sa direction, de lui en prescrire le sens et d’en annoncer les bienfaits.
