English summary: This collection of essays shows the importance of what Peter Pilhofer calls lokalgeschichtliche Methode, i.e. the method of giving a complete description of the world in which the first Christians lived. It is his belief that taking this into consideration will lead to a better understanding of the historical and the theological aspects of the early Christian communities for all those attempting to explain early Christian texts. The essays collected here focus on central Christological themes such as the resurrection of Christ or his ascension as well as on eschatological problems and questions concerning the history of religion. German description: Neben einigen bereits in Zeitschriften veroffentlichten Aufsatzen (z.B. ‘Praexistenzchristologie des Hebraerbriefs’ und ‘Lukas als Mann aus Makedonien’) enthalt dieser Band grosstenteils bislang unpublizierte Arbeiten von Peter Pilhofer aus den Jahren 1996 bis 2001. Der Autor greift zentrale christologische, ekklesiologische und religionsgeschichtliche Fragen auf. Drei Beitrage sind Lukas gewidmet: seiner Herkunft aus Makedonien, seinen Kenntnissen hinsichtlich der Geographie Galatiens, Antiochiens und Philippis. Ein Beitrag beschaftigt sich mit der damonischen Hermeneutik Justins des Martyrers.Die Sammlung wird durch eine wesentlich erweiterte Neufassung der Skizze ‘Archaologie und Neues Testament: Von der Palastinawissenschaft zur lokalgeschichtlichen Methode’ eroffnet, die nicht nur die Geschichte der ‘lokalgeschichtlichen Methode’ nachzeichnet, sondern auch an zwei konkreten Beispielen aus der Feder von Jens Borstinghaus und Eva Ebel die Fruchtbarkeit dieses methodischen Ansatzes zeigt. Alle Beitrage sind von der Uberzeugung getragen, dass die Einbeziehung der Lebenswelt der fruhen christlichen Gemeinden zu einem besseren Verstandnis nicht nur der historischen, sondern auch der theologischen Belange fuhrt. Fur die neutestamentliche Exegese ist die umfassende Berucksichtigung der Umwelt der fruhen Christen eine unabdingbare Voraussetzung.
