English summary: The late-medieval book collection of the Cistercian cloister of Woltingerode is one of the most extensive surviving libraries of its kind from northern Germany. Following detailed codicological, paleographic and content analysis, the reconstituted collection offers a view of a late medieval manuscript workshop within a cloister as a point-of-departure for the investigation of the educational circumstances of the nuns. These manuscripts, used for the instruction of novices, are regarded as a literary reflection of the entire collection, because they contain a complex assortment of numerous authors, in addition to currently unidentified texts, which cover a broad literary range. An overview shows both books from the period when reforming efforts were still contested as well as books that conformed to the prescriptions of monastic reformers, and so provides an exact view into the changing educational situation of the novices and the daily monastic lectures heard by the nuns. The basic approaches for an intentional plan of education are revealed in the selection of themes, in which the literary production of texts and the goals of the lectures are best understood. The development of literacy at Woltingerode, between change and continuity, is directly related to the history of the cloister. The return to monastic ideals and the intensification of the spiritual life that were a part of medieval reform movements was also accompanied at Woltingerode with a reform of educational practices. Consequently, by means of the book collections, a considerable amount of information is amassed that not only speaks to the connection of the Woltingerode Cistercians to the reform movements, but also characterizes the community as an important center of reform within regional society. German description: Die spatmittelalterlichen Buchbestande des Zisterzienserinnenklosters Woltingerode gehoren zu den umfangreichsten uberlieferten Bibliotheken im norddeutschen Raum. Nach einer detaillierten kodikologischen, palaografischen und inhaltlichen Analyse des rekonstruierten Bestandes dient eine am Ende des Spatmittelalters in der klostereigenen Werkstatt entstandene Handschrift als Ausgangspunkt fur die Untersuchung der Bildungsverhaltnisse der Nonnen. Diese im Novizinnenunterricht verwendete Handschrift kann als literarisches Spiegelbild des Gesamtbestandes gelten, da sie eine komplexe Zusammenstellung von zahlreichen Autoren und zum Teil noch unbekannten Texten enthalt sowie uber ein breites literarisches Repertoire verfugt. In einer Gesamtschau bieten sowohl die im Zuge der Reformbestrebungen entstandenen als auch die reformkonformen Bucher einen genauen Einblick in die veranderte Ausbildungssituation der Novizinnen und den monastischen Lekturealltag der Nonnen. Ansatze eines angestrebten Bildungskonzeptes sind in der Auswahl der Themen, in der literarischen Verarbeitung der Texte und in der Zielsetzung der Lekture zu erkennen. Die Entwicklung der Woltingeroder Schriftlichkeit zwischen Wandel und Kontinuitat steht im direkten Bezug zur Klostergeschichte. Die wahrend der Reformbewegung geforderte Ruckkehr zu den monastischen Idealen und die Intensivierung des spirituellen Lebens zog in Woltingerode zugleich auch eine Bildungsreform nach sich. Demzufolge lassen sich mittels der Buchbestande zahlreiche Hinweise zusammentragen, die nicht nur fur einen Anschluss der Woltingeroder Zisterzienserinnen an die Reform sprechen, sondern das Kloster im regionalen Sozialgefuge als ein bedeutendes Reformzentrum charakterisieren.
