Die Gemeinschaft der Lernenden und Lehrenden scheint auf den ersten Blick rechtlich gesichert durch umfassende Freiraume fur Forschung und Lehre. Bei ausseren Bedrohungen wird jedoch vieles schnell bruchig. In der Corona-Krise vollzog sich in kurzester Zeit der Ubergang des gelebten Miteinanders hin zur virtuellen Begegnung im digitalen Raum. Braucht die Hochschule trotzdem die gegenseitige Anwesenheit in der Lehre, um frei und geschutzt die Grenzen des Wissens zu vermitteln? Wie kann man uber den Rechtsstaat und seine Gefahrdung sprechen, wenn die Raume, die dafur gegeben sind, ganz handfest verschlossen bleiben? In einer interdisziplinaren Annaherung umkreisen die Beitrage des Bandes wesentliche Punkte unserer Freiheitsordnung wie auch der universitaren Bildung in und nach der Corona-Zeit.
