Augustinus-Lexikon / Aaron – Corpus
edited by Cornelius Mayer, Erich Feldmann, Wilhelm Geerlings, Reinhart Herzog, Serge Lancel, Goulven Madec, Gerard O'Daly, Alfred Schindler, Otto Wermelinger and Antonie Wlosok
The Augustinus-Lexikon is both a conceptual and a real dictionary. In alphabetical order it captures concepts, persons, and things that are relevant to Augustine’s life, work, and teachings. In order to be able to represent larger contexts, the lexicon not only takes into account Augustine’s biography and writings, but also incorporates his church-political position, the personalities in his environment, and the contemporary historical context. The articles are published in German, English, or French.
