Vol. 23 features studies on Caesarea Maritima’s mosaics, Iron Age chronology and settlement in the southern Levant, Roman burials and hidden hoards in the Holy Land, biblical and Qur’anic interpretation, and the socio-economic structure of Chalcolithic villages, alongside reviews of recent scholarship on ancient Egypt and early Judaism.

This volume brings together new research on the archaeology, history, religion, and societies of the Ancient Near East and Eastern Mediterranean, from the Chalcolithic to the Roman and Early Islamic periods.
