This study focuses on the bronzes of animals and deities from Lower Egypt. Based on a typological organization, animals and gods are identified and their significance is elucidated. In addition, the study provides context on their provenience and related cults, analyses of their function and donors, and the significance of the bronzes within the intercultural exchange of religious ideas between Egypt and Greece. German text.
