Geschlechterfragen bilden bis heute einen der wesentlichen Unterschiede zwischen Katholizismus und Protestantismus. Der Band fragt nach Entwicklungen innerhalb der christlichen Kirchen wie nach Wechselwirkungen von Glaube und Geschlecht in andere Weltreligionen.
