English summary: The present volume offers Michel Foucault’s conference before the French Philosophical Society in which he situates his work as part of an ethical and political attitude that is part of the art of being less governed. Also present in the volume is the French translation of Foucault’s conference at Berkeley wherein he defined his work as a historical ontology of ourselves.
