The first volume deals with the discipline according to a chronological criterion: from the first evidence of the making of a “dress” at the end of the 19th century. “Storia della Moda” vol.1is a methodological tool for the study and analysis of the main historical, anthropological, artistic-historical and costume phenomena linked to fashion and its evolution over time. The second volume will focus on the collection of in-depth essays, articles and short monographic contributions by several authors based on the contents of the first volume.
