Regional church development. A sequel? No, an in-depth foundation with many new ideas! Regional cooperation, binding collaboration and even the legal unification of congregations need not be the end of the local Christian community. On the contrary: a different view of our ecclesiastical neighbours can steer collaboration and an own profile in a fruitful direction. This book shows which basic principles need to be clarified, which attitudes are helpful and what the concrete application could look like. The starting point is the flourishing local life of a congregation in a jointly responsible area, the region. A new approach is to combine regiolocal church development with Daniel Kahnemann’s considerations on decision-making processes and to draw conclusions for slow church development.
