| The publication of this special memorial can not include all that we owe to the memory of Athanasios Paliouras, not so much because it is difficult to estimate his contribution to his students, but because the immediacy of his dedication to the work of each and every one of us goes above and beyond what is measurable. His reputable life will stand as an example for those to come and a good memory. Guiding his students, he indicated the path of science by building the good testimony and transmitting it by way of the bright example of his life. We will always thank him for what he offered us, and we will always honor him following the scientific legacy bequeathed to us by his generous personality. |
