English summary: No city can boast a legendary tradition like that of Padua. On the two thousandth anniversary of Augustus’s death, Padua cannot help but remember his role in their history. This is true particularly because of the relationship developed between Padua and Rome — two cities founded by Trojan heroes — in the Augustan Age.
