Ein Überblick über die Synodaltätigkeit in Deutschland, Polen und Tschechien.

English summary: Since the third century the synod has been known as a form of assembly and as a collegial element of the ecclesiastical constitution. In the later Middle Ages the synodal system revived and was constituent in the following church reform. The legislation which resolved out of the provincial or diocesan synods shows the problems of the particular province and also enlightens the local churches actual circumstances during the examined period. The dioceses on the territories of contemporary Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and several medieval provinces as well as some dioceses are used as examples. German description: Seit dem 3. Jahrhundert ist die Synode als Versammlungsform und als kollegiales Element der kirchlichen Verfassung bekannt. Im Spatmittelalter erfolgte eine Belebung des Synodalwesens, das eines der grundlegenden Elemente der Kirchenreform dieser Zeit darstellt. Die daraus resultierende Partikulargesetzgebung spiegelt die fur die jeweilige Kirchenprovinz wichtigen Probleme wider und zeigt die tatsachlichen Verhaltnisse, die in den Lokalkirchen herrschten. Die Beitrage beschaftigen sich mit dem Problem der Partikularsynoden im heutigen Deutschland, Polen und Tschechien. Dabei geben sie einerseits einen Uberblick uber einzelne Regionen wie Franken oder auch Altbayern, nehmen andererseits aber auch die Synodaltatigkeit in einzelnen Diozesen naher in Augenschein.
