Le present volume etudie les nombreuses reecritures latines et vernaculaires de l'Historiaqui furent composees en Europe du XIIau XVIsiecle. Y sont mises au jour les inflexions, de fond et de forme, qu'a pu subir le recit source. Ces analyses convergent pour enrichir l'histoire textuelle de cette chronique, qui compta parmi les plus pregnantes dans la culture medievale.
