L’Etruria Meridionale e Roma
Insediamenti e Territorio tra IV e III Secolo A.C.
by Luca Pulcinelli
English summary: This study investigates the relationship between Southern Etruria and their territories during the early Hellenistic period (between the fourth and third centuries BC), a moment of profound transformation in central Italy. The focus of this book is threefold: the relationship between settlements and the surrounding towns and the agricultural landscape, an archaeological explanation of the territorial sectors and boundaries between major centers, and the dynamics of the Roman conquest and the first phases of Romanization.
