In 1573, the Dialogue auquel sont traitees plusieurs choses avenues aux Lutheriens et Huguenots recounted the Saint-Bartholomews Day massacre and proposed a religious meditation and a radical politics. In 1574, the Reveille-matin added a second dialogue in order to rethink, using the most recent sources, the relationship between faith and politics.
