English Summary: What is Galician-Portuguese? Is the language of poets, from the late 12th century to the mid-14th century, the same as that used for prose works or in legal and notary documents? What are its main features? The manual tries to answer these questions, following a didactic approach aimed first and foremost at the students of Romance Studies and Portuguese Literature that deal for the first time with this fascinating literary tradition. The volume is divided into two parts: in the first part the historical grammar of the Galician language is proposed, focusing in particular on the relationship that links it to the Portuguese language and paying attention to the first written attestations. The second part deals instead with the language of the trobadores, offering a description as exhaustive as possible that examines – for the first time in a manual of this kind – the graphic, phonetic and morphological variations that can be inferred exclusively from the direct analysis of the songbooks. La lingua dei poeti, dagli ultimi anni del XII secolo fino alla meta del Trecento, e la stessa usata per le opere in prosa o nei documenti giuridici e notarili? Quali sono le sue principali caratteristiche? Il manuale prova a rispondere a queste domande, seguendo un’impostazione didattica rivolta anzitutto agli studenti di Filologia romanza e Letteratura portoghese che si misurino per la prima volta con questa affascinante tradizione letteraria. Il volume si divide in due parti: nella prima si propongono i lineamenti di grammatica storica della lingua galega, soffermandosi in particolare sul rapporto che la lega al portoghese e prestando attenzione alle prime attestazioni scritte. La seconda parte affronta invece la lingua dei trobadores, offrendone una descrizione il piu possibile esaustiva che prenda in esame – per la prima volta in un manuale di questo genere – le variazioni grafiche, fonetiche e morfologiche inferibili esclusivamente dall’analisi diretta dei canzonieri.
